this relationship is the best thing in my life. i know people say, “don’t put your whole heart into things.” but i’m taking that risk with you. you have more of me than i have ever given to anybody else, and i know that you’ll care for me and love me just as i do for you. there is no proper age to declare when love can be considered real or not. i look at us as being two of the lucky few that get to find true love so early in life. it’s this feeling between two people that just can’t be explained. if others can see that, then what we have really must be something truly special and magnificent. if they don’t, then it doesn’t really matter because we believe in it and that’s the most important thing. i loved you yesterday, today, and i always will. ”nothing can ever be that bad because i have you.” and i know that you and i will always have a tomorrow together. i love you so much.
i personally love the way our hobby of photography is incorporated in our relationship. it’s more than just “something that i like to do.” a lot of my favorite couples on tumblr have the sweetest stories, cutest videos, and the most adorable pictures. it’s not just “showing off” your relationship, it’s a lot more than that for me. we don’t fake smiles or moments. even if we leave the camera, how we act in front of a camera is the same way we act all the time. we’re playful, sweet, affectionate, it’s not just taking two people and posing a certain way. it’s not an act, and i think that’s what i love the most about it. when i look at our pictures, i can easily feel what i felt in that moment; happiness, love, laughter, joy, etc. the pictures that i have are representations of the best thing in my life, not everyone may understand it, but being able to look at one of our pictures and think to myself, “god, i am so lucky to be with him.” really makes me appreciate everything i have. they’re more than just images to me, each one is a memory of a day in our relationship and because of them, i can’t ever really forget the way he makes me feel.
i love waking up to you, smiling just because you’re the first thing i see in the morning. everyone else in my past doesn’t even compare to you. i look at our relationship, and after all the time that we’ve spent together, it’s hard for me to imagine a time when you weren’t in my life. it feels like we’ve been together forever and i love that about us because i can honestly tell you that i can’t picture a day that you’re not a part of my life. the good times, the bad times, the happy memories, the ugly fights, i want everything that makes this relationship the realest thing i’ve ever experienced in my life.
“i look at you and i would rather look at you than all the portraits in the world.” i can’t wait to go out to the city at night with you even more once the weather starts to get warmer. i love being with you, taking pictures with you, and just being surrounded by the city lights at night. i remember the city as where we had our date the day that you asked me out, the day that you finally asked me to be your girlfriend. i can’t wait to do all those things again once it’s finally spring. nice weather, trips to central park, food from street vendors, that’s how it all started. :)
